Jubilee: Day 7 Morning Tour

on
June 7, 2024

Good morning! Before we get the day started I’m going to take you on a little tour of the areas of the ship that I don’t frequent. We’ll do the Sports Square, Water Works, Serenity Deck, and The Family Harbor areas. Let’s go up one deck from Lido.

Right by the stairs is the upper floor of the Tiki Bar.

This is a view of Lido Deck from the Tiki Bar.

We are entering the serenity area.

This spot next to the bar is where I rode out a windstorm on one of the sea days.

The Fresh Creations salad bar is extremely popular.

This is the Serenity Pool area.

We are now about to come around to the front of the ship.

This is the front of the ship on deck 18.

We are now port side walking back. That’s the pool/bar area on the left.

And we are exiting the Serenity area.

Let’s check out the Sports Square next. That’s on this level but behind the big screen. I’m going have to go down one deck and then come back up on the other side.

We are heading back on the starboard side.

That is the ropes course.

They have foosball tables on each side of this deck and more inside the clubhouse.

They also have ping pong tables both outside here as well as inside the clubhouse.

Full basketball court. They have goals to convert it to soccer as well.

You have to go around this walking track 7 times for a mile.

In the very back is Water Works and mini golf.

I just stepped down from deck 18 to deck 17.

This is the seating in the back of deck 17.

On the starboard side we have the Bolt Roller Coaster entrance.

Right by the entrance they have a Bolt car you can take pictures on.

You can always tell when you find that smoking area early in the morning. The ship is empty then you turn a corner and it’s packed. You are in the smoking area.

We are now back down on Lido Deck. This is the aft pool.

The Tides Bar is also in this area.

Let’s take the stairs down and look at the art work. This is the Galveston pleasure pier.

This is Progreso in Mexico. That’s Chichen Itza on the right.

This is Los Angeles.

Manhattan

Sydney, Austalia.

New Orleans

Venice, Italy.

Miami

Deck 5 is the lowest you can go in the aft stairwell. I went to the mid stairwell. That’s the medical center on Deck 3 mid. I know because this is where I get on the ship in port and I bypass that elevator line for these stairs.

Right upstairs at deck 4 mid is Camp Ocean and The Family Harbor.

This is the Family Harbor Lounge which is only accessible to people staying in Family Harbor rooms.

It looks like they are setting up a breakfast buffet in there.

Let’s look at the mid stairwell art up to deck 8 where I’m getting coffee.

That completes the morning tour. Next time we’ll cover the rest of day 7.
