Good morning! We are docked next to Celebrity Constellation in Costa Maya. I wanted to do the last set of Mayan Ruins that you can do from this port. But I’ve only seen it offered through The Native Choice and their website is telling me this port stop isn’t long enough for that excursion. So I’m going to hang out in the port area instead. I’m going to spend some time in the big pool before it gets crowded. Then I’m going to tour the Aviary. After that I’m going to explore the rest of the port before returning to the ship for lunch.

Lets take a look at what we can see on Constellation.

Spirit is on the other side of us. I’m on her in two weeks. That will be my first cruise on a Spirit Class ship. Harmony of the Seas is coming in on the other side of Spirit.

The Papantla Flyers was on the top of my list. I’ve been here twice and haven’t seen them. But both of those times I was rushing to/from excursions.

My plan for today was to try out that big pool but before anyone else got in it.

I was in about an hour before people started coming down to my end so I finished my beer and got out.

I stopped by the room to change clothes. The steward has been by and dropped off the laundry I sent out yesterday.

It looks like Deal or No Deal just ended.

I was looking at my OBC and it doesn’t look like I’ll spend it all. So I decided to look into a specialty dinner. Preferably Rudi’s since it’s not on the other ships I’m going to be on.

I looked at Main Dining Room Menus. Tonight I would have the spare ribs in the dining room which is good. Tomorrow is lobster. Then Friday I want to go with one of the new items: The Coffee Glazed Duck.

I decided to try Rudi’s tonight.

We dine!

My waitress asked if I had any allergies. I said only seafood. Which I thought would be funny since we’re at a seafood restaurant. She starts writing and says out loud “no…. sea….food.” I don’t think she appreciated it as much as I expected. I went on to tell the people at the table next to me..who I had been talking to..the squid ink story from Dr. Inks. I got the feeling the waitress didn’t appreciate sitting through that either. But the table next to me enjoyed it.

My Future Husband. This is Carnival’s newest show.

My dinner made me a couple minutes late. There are plenty of seats in here but everyone is on the side. So I find a row that has just three people on the end. 30 open seats next to them. Then two people on the other end. Those ladies had no interest in letting me in. They didn’t move their legs one bit. I had to squeeze in that three inches of space between them and the seats in front of them.
