I Have a Dream: Key West
Good morning! We are in Key West with Carnival Victory.

Breakfast
Being on a ship in Key West is definitely different. It’s like the cell phone has just been discovered. Everyone is on them. Good news is I can use my AT&T unlimited data plan all day today.
I’m going to grab a quick bite to eat before going ashore.

Capt. Tony’s Saloon
Capt. Tony’s Saloon has…interesting decor.

Little White House

Fort Zachary Taylor

Southernmost Point

Key West Lighthouse

Ernest Hemingway Home
Hemingway liked his privacy. I overheard a tour driver saying he built that wall with brick from the street. The city made him pay for it.

D.J.’s Clam Shack
Conch Fritters, fries, and a local beer

Mile Marker 0

Mallory Square

I’m glad I went with what I thought the CD said this morning which is back on board 3:30 pm and not what is in the fun times which is 5:30

Red Frog Rum Bar
Since we are sailing away from Florida I’m going with a Miami Vice.

Dinner

Pumpkin soup

Short Ribs

Chocolate Melting Cake

Red Frog Rum Bar
Rum Jumper

This is interesting. I’ve never heard this before. The lido bartender told me I couldn’t have both of my earbuds in..only one. Now first off I have ear buds in half the time..and half the time I have them in there’s nothing playing on them. When there is its news or sports talk so no loud music. I can always hear people talking. But I’ve never heard this rule in 8 cruises.
Comedy Club
The Punchliner

Dinner service tonight was slow. I get there when they start YTD and try to get out by 7. I’ve been getting out around 6:30 the past couple days. Today? 7:30. Missed the 7pm comedy show.
Atrium
Rock n’ glow party

Lido deck

There will be no preserving towel animals this Cruise. My steward either took my last one. Or changed it into this one.
And that envelope in my fun times….Art Auction invite. I caught someone putting those in boxes earlier. I told them I didn’t need one. And they end up sending it with the fun times.

pamici
Holy crap, it’s a dream come true. (pun, intended or not) Thank you, Saint Greg!!!!
