Good morning. Today is the last day of the cruise and the weather looks great! I see some chatter on social media that we hit some rough waves this morning.

I haven’t had a lot of ship movement this cruise. But up front here in my room I have a had a few times where there’s a loud boom that shakes the entire room. This morning at 2am was one of those times.

Here are today’s Fun Times.

This is the one that had that $602 authorization yesterday. It posted for the right amount. $102.48 was my total.

I headed down to The Wave morning show.

They must be doing the Seuss breakfast this morning.

Again the Javablue coffee line is long.

The Plaza Bar coffee line isn’t as long.

I got my usual mocha.

I’m down in the atrium for screwdrivers. You know I need that Vitamin C in the morning.

They are indeed having a Seuss breakfast this morning.

My table is ready so I’m going to order one more screwdriver and head that way.

There are no stairwell dwellers this morning.

One plate again. It’s their new thing. 

This is eggs benedict which comes with brunch potatoes and I ordered a side of bacon and hash browns.

I didn’t ask for crispy bacon for two reasons. Yesterday I got turkey bacon that way. And other days it’s been so crispy that at least half of it has been inedible. Today I just asked for regular bacon and it came crispy and edible.

I did appreciate that they put my grits in a bowl instead of dumping them on top.

This is tonight’s MDR dinner menu. I’ll be in JiJi’s.

I left my do not disturb sign down this morning hoping my steward will at least drop off my laundry so I can pack today. It hasn’t happened yet though.

They have some kind of singing competition on lido.

Cuba

The VIFP thing is going on now. It was at noon. I guess I’ll miss it again. 

I haven’t spent much time in the Serenity this cruise due to the long port days and the weather yesterday. I’m going to have a few drinks up there.

The line isn’t out the door today. I think I’m going to go with JiJi.

Rum Dynasty

This is the steak bowl I like from Chibang on the Excel class ships. I like the new lunch bowls here. 

After lunch I went downstairs for some New York Cheesecake in the buffet.

I’m grabbing a beer to take to the Cruise Director Q&A session.

Q&A with Georgia. I thought the most interesting one was what was her worst cruise. It was a Hawaii cruise on Miracle and the itinerary was changed the day before the cruise. So she had to change all of the schedules and guests had to change excursions. Then a volcano erupted and one of the ports was canceled.

After the Q&A I headed to the casino to use my free play. I got up around $50 and then lost it pretty quick. This will be my last free play because Carnival has removed the benefit.

I left my do not disturb sign off all day so the steward would do my room early and leave my laundry so I could pack. This is a great example of why I leave it on all day usually. I’m ready to get ready for the Alchemy and the evening and he’s in there doing the room now. I’m going to just hang out here for a few minutes.

Now I can finish my packing.

The bar was full but I just kind of walked to the end of the ship and back, then circled around. Finally a seat opened up. Big D was late and the other alchemist was swamped so it took like 20 minutes to get a drink. I’m drinking dirty martinis tonight.

After this one I need to head to JiJi’s for dinner.

We dine!

It would be really nice if they would move out of my sunset.

I tried tapping on the window. I think they’re ignoring me. I can reach up high and get it.

I will miss JiJi’s. It’s my favorite restaurant on Carnival but it’s only on three ships.

Live entertainment in the Havana bar.

The Skybox Sports bar is packed for playoff hockey.

My man Yorden got me.

It looks like the main entertainment tonight is comedy in the main lounge. They did it at 7:30 and 9:30. I was eating at 7:30 so I planned to go to the 9:30. I got here at 9:25.  There is not a seat in the house. Did anyone go to the 7:30 or are that many people double dipping? Or does half of the ship pack this place?
