Hilton Garden Inn in West Mobile
Prior to my Carnival Spirit cruise out of Mobile, Alabama, I booked the Hilton Garden Inn in West Mobile. I was able to get it on Hotwire for $102 where it would’ve cost $227 booking through Hilton. This hotel put me 10 miles from the cruise port on embarkation morning. That’s a 15-20 minute drive.
I was only in the hotel long enough to sleep, but it looks like there is a Mexican restaurant right next door.
There is a fountain and sitting area on the side of the hotel.
The parking lot has several charging stations for electric vehicles.
This is the front desk and lobby area.
I was in a king room on the second floor.
The room came with a complimentary moon pie.
This is the view from the room.
During my tour of the hotel I found two meeting rooms. The Hunley Room and the USS Alabama room.
Downstairs by the elevators they have bathrooms and a water fountain.
Straight out the back door is the pool.
They have a 24 hour business center with a computer and printer if you need to print anything.
It looks like at one point they had two computers.
The washer and dryer take credit cards.
It’s a $2.50 wash and either a $1 or $2 dry. The first number wasn’t working so it just showed up as .00.
This is the fitness center.
They have free water and headphones.
It looks like someone put a used pair back. Nice.
They have a breakfast area downstairs by the lobby. I missed the price.
I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was a nice, clean hotel not too far from the cruise port and I got a good price for it on Hotwire.
