Dr. Inks on Carnival Jubilee

on
May 6, 2024

The most unique and one of my favorite bars on Carnival Jubilee, is Dr. Inks. The drinks are extremely creative. You can get a lot of entertainment just by sitting there and watching them make the different drinks on the menu. Here is a look at the menu.

I recommend sitting on this end of the bar because this is where all of the drinks are made.

I tried all of the drinks from this section. My favorite of these is Ocean Bubble.

The Ocean Bubble is the most popular drink at this bar. Everyone sees the drink with the bubble and wants to order one.

You touch the bubble and it turns to smoke. I did see one lady try to blow the bubble. The bubble didn’t pop. It left her glass and ended up on the bar intact.

These bubbles in close proximity got stuck together.

This is the Coral Beauty.

Fish Dreams isn’t very fancy. I believe those are edible flowers. At least I hope they were.

Vanished beneath has cotton candy in it. They start by putting cotton candy in the glass, then they pour the drink on top of it.

This is Vanished Beneath. It gets extremely sweet as you get down to the cotton candy.

Sea Foam isn’t too fancy. It’s one of the better drinks at this bar and it has the foam on top.

For Shade Shifter they give you these two glasses. You pour the orange one into the purple one and it changes colors.

The only drinks I didn’t try from this section are the Seahorse Glide and the Spiral Shell. I did get a video of the Seahorse Glide. It’s a popular drink for whisky drinkers. My favorite drink in this section is the Doctor’s Special.

The Doctor’s Special is not only one of the best drinks at this bar, it’s also one of the most popular ones because they put a logo on top of it.

There are several different logos they can use.

The secret is that machine over there. That’s how they put the logos on the drinks.

Snapping Pop has Pop Rocks in it.

You can really hear those pop rocks the entire time you have the drink.

Seahorse Glide is a whiskey drink which I skipped. But here is a video of it. This is another one that attracts attention and makes people want to order it.

Think or Sink was one of my least favorite drinks at the bar. I think I could really taste the squid ink and I wasn’t a fan.

The only drink I didn’t try in this section was the Starfish Rays but I did get a picture of it. My favorite drink from this section is the Sea Cucumber.

Deep Abyss was another of my least favorite drinks at this bar. They were out of the charcoal syrup so they substituted squid ink which I didn’t like. There is a chance it’s better with the charcoal syrup but it doesn’t sound much better.

Sea Cucumber was my favorite drink from this section.

Sea Grass Meadows

The Crimson Catch is supposed to have Swedish Fish in it. These look like gummy worms to me.

Sea Tangle has kiwi boba balls in it.

Starfish Rays is a tequila drink that I didn’t try but I was able to capture a picture. That is starfruit on top.

I did not try the Spiral Shell but I was able to get a picture of someone else’s drink.

I really enjoyed my time at Dr. Inks bar. I spent two sea day afternoons trying their drinks and capturing pictures and videos. I found a lot of options for me as a vodka/rum drinker. This is one of my favorite bars on Carnival. For all bar menus on Carnival Jubilee, be sure to check out Carnival Jubilee Bar Menus.
