Comfort Suites Seabrook-Kemah

on
October 4, 2024

I usually like to stay in Webster but I booked the Comfort Inn and Suites Seabrook-Kemah for $75 ($87 after taxes) on a night when all of the good Webster hotels were going to be well over $100. This isn’t far from Webster, but it will add about 10 minutes on to your drive time to the port. And if you’re used to eating in Webster as I am, it’s a little bit of a drive to get to Bucees and some of the restaurants I’m used to frequenting.  The location is very good for visiting the Kemah Boardwalk.

There aren’t a lot of places to eat or shop in the immediate area of the hotel but you will find a ton of that down by the Kemah Boardwalk which isn’t far away.

The lobby had a sitting area with a TV and a business center with two computers.

Notice that there is no printer here.

Right next to the lobby is an area where they serve a free breakfast every morning.

Out the door from the breakfast room is the pool which is open from 8am to 10pm.

Next to the elevator is their meeting room and the fitness center.

It seems like they should have towels here.

The TV was off. I don’t know if it worked. I didn’t see a remote control around.

The ice machine was out of service.

At the end of the main hallway is a laundry room but the dryer was out of service. They do offer to dry your clothes for you behind the front desk free of charge.

Now we’re getting to the most important part which is the room.

I thought this hotel was a decent option for one night. The room was clean, comfortable, and affordable. They had a free breakfast included. My only concern is the maintenance of the public facilities with no functioning dryer or ice machine. If you’re needing a place where you can print documents, this business center does not have a printer. Other than that I thought it was a good hotel.
