I knew going to that comedy was a mistake as soon as I realized it got out at 1am and I had to be back in the theater for my excursion in 7 hours. No wonder it wasn’t heavily attended. 

They have the timing wrong. Those shows should’ve been right after Rock n Glow. 11 and 11:30. That’s why I missed it the night before it was 1 1/2 hours after the last big event and I fell asleep. Tonight when nobody has to be up early tomorrow they have no comedy. It makes no sense.

My alarm was set for 7am to give me almost six hours of sleep. Other people’s alarms started going off at six. I could hear them through the wall.

Once I was up at six I felt pretty sure that I wouldn’t be able to get back to sleep. So I ended up with just under five hours sleep. 

Here is a look at today’s Fun Times.

That’s a rough coffee line. I got here right at opening time and the line goes to the right then comes back this way.

Kenette is working it alone. She’s still moving it pretty quick. 

She’s making some coffees before the people order. She had the guy in front of me. She had mine and said “I know you’re coming back through.”

An officer stopped by and asked why she was alone. She said the other baristas signed off and the new one hasn’t started yet.

The people in front of me on my second time though the line took issue with Kenette knowing the order I guess. She guessed the order right. They said no and gave it to her in a different order. She repeated it again. They thought about it. Then said yes.

The people behind me are commenting on how great she’s doing. One says if she worked for Starbucks the stock would triple.  Another says she should be training all Carnival baristas. The guy in front of me chimes in “except for the customer service part.” The guy behind me says “she’s doing the job of three people.”

I ran back to the room to get ready for my excursion. I requested a breakfast table when I got out of the shower and it was ready when I left the room. I’m hoping I can squeeze it in. I should be good. We haven’t docked yet.

I made it. Technically I’m 10 minutes late but I’ve seen this show before. I knew I was good until we docked.

I’m back at the Alchemy for some rum drinks from Nicola.

Kenette from the coffee shop stopped by. She’s still working alone.

I’ve been forgetting to go to this a lot recently. We’ll see if I make this one.

The laundry from yesterday has been delivered and today’s was taken out.

If I have to take out an eye that’s the breaks …

Remember what bad shape that fridge was on the first day? I didn’t even mention it to the steward but he got it replaced. I didn’t get all of my drinks in today so I grabbed 14 and 15 on my way back to the room for tomorrow.

I’m off to bed. Tomorrow is the last day of the cruise.
