Good morning! I fell asleep and missed the midnight comedy showcase. I woke up at like 12:40 and decided it wasn’t worth going at that point.

It was crazy in here around 2am. I turned the TV on because that noise was better than the other noise. It’s like we head for the roughest water at night and the calmest during the day. 

At 5am I woke up and things had calmed down. Then at 7 there was a call for the emergency response team on lido that went into the rooms. That got me up for good.

They move this line so fast there’s really no need to go down to the non-smoking casino for coffee. 

I got my coffee and we are pulling in.

My breakfast table is ready so I’m going to head to the dining room.

The girl taking me to the table walked right past it and then started looking around like she was lost after I sat down.

Trivia is happening in the atrium for those who wish to stay on the ship.

They’re doing an abandon ship drill today. They said they’re going to go room to room getting imaginary guests out so put your do not disturb sign out if you don’t want them going in your room. 

Leo “Sparkles” is hosting the trivia then reverse charades.

There was a group of blue cards at the bar trying to order the Cheers package. The guy was claiming he had paid for it but was told he needed a bartender activate it.

The bartenders told him he didn’t have the Cheers package and yesterday was the last day to order it. He got mad, yelled, and stormed off saying he was going to get his money back.

I decided just to get off and just walk the port area to see if it was decorated for Christmas. I was hopeful with the grinch characters.

All they really had was an undecorated tree.

For lunch I got a Turkey and Swiss hold the mayo.

And a selection of fruit.

I think I get it. Dumbo – Down Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass.

I put together a laundry bag. I get two free bags on a five day cruise. The plan is one today and one tomorrow. I only had one bag in the room so I left a note asking for another bag.

They have the good colored candy canes in the bucket now.

They never grabbed their excursion cancellation paper. I wonder if they just showed up for it.

I’m having a couple Shiners.

They have the Christmas tree up in the theater. 

I’m heading up to the Serenity Bar.

I’m starting to really like this Coconut Kiss at the Serenity Bar. If you like coconut but don’t want something too sweet, this is good.

Skinny Fizz then I’m heading down to Alchemy.

I knew this was missing but I have seen it be the last thing they put together at the end of the first week of December.

I’ve never seen it in ocean plaza. It’s usually around the corner sort of across from the coffee bar.

Where those people are standing in the background is where I’m used to see this display. I was definitely there on Dream and Magic.

This makes more sense. I saw those gift things on a table and thought “that doesn’t make sense taking up an Ocean Plaza table for decoration.” 

This is a new alchemist at work from St Lucia.

This is a strawberry vodka concoction from Nicola.

I found a duck.

I got used to Your Time Dining being in the back of the ship. It’s assigned dining on this ship.

It’s a nice dining room though.

After dinner I headed down to the Alchemy Bar. I’m starting out in no man’s land with my dining room martini.

I asked “can you check and see how many drinks I’m at?”  I thought it was 13 or 14 but of course this is 15.

This is the ugly Christmas sweater contest. The one on the left got light applause and said “thanks guys.” The second from left won.

The ones in the grinch shirts were next to me in the dining room.

I was heading upstairs when I heard something familiar. I turn around…it’s showtime!

They have the Latin duo in the atrium now.

Rock n Glow is happening on Lido deck.

Sometime around now I realized my card and monkey were no longer with me. I went back to the last place I know I had them. I got a water at the casino bar. That bartender said I took it with me. I’m retracing steps. I hop in the mid elevator back to deck 10 for Rock n Glow. 

Sometimes retracing your steps works.

I made it to the comedy showcase this time. It’s pretty empty in here with the port day tomorrow so I sat in the front.
