Carnival Panorama Tour – Part 4 (decks 10-15)
We are completing our tour of Carnival Panorama with decks 10-15. If you missed the previous installment of decks 6-9, you can find it here: Carnival Panorama Tour – Part 3 (decks 6-9).
Deck 10
The forward portion of deck 10 is all guest cabins. When you step out onto the pool deck you can see the main pool, deck chairs, and the seaside theater screen.
The resolution on the Seaside Theater screen seems to be better than on the older classes of ships.
On the starboard side you have the Red Frog Rum Bar which is the best place on this deck to get a rum drink.
On the port side you have the Blue Iguana Tequila Bar which is the best place to get a tequila drink or Mexican beer on this deck.
This is a look back from the other side of the main pool. That’s the tequila bar on the left and the rum bar on the right.
On the other end of the deck we have Guy’s Burgers on the starboard side.
And we have the Blue Iguana Cantina on the port side.
Beyond the main pool deck area we head inside the Lido Marketplace commonly known as “the buffet.”
They have handwashing stations and Purell dispensers available in the buffet.
I don’t usually eat meals in the buffet but I do try to stop at the gelato station each day.
I also found the cake station difficult to resist.
Moving back outside we find ourselves in the aft portion of the ship.
On the port side we have the 24-hour pizzeria–Pizza Del Capitano.
On the starboard side we have the Seafood Shack which is an additional charge seafood place.
In the middle here is the Tides Bar. This is my favorite place to get a sail away drink. This area is where you are going to get the best sail away views.
We also have a smaller pool back here with a hot tub on each side.
If you go past the aft pool and look off of the back of the deck you have a good view of the Havana pool deck and balconies. I call this the budget Havana balcony.
This is also my favorite spot for sail away. In this one we are leaving Mazatlan.
Deck 11
On deck 11 forward we have some comfortable seating to watch Dive-in movies and other events on the Seaside Theater screen.
Up above the Lido Marketplace we come to JiJi’s Asian Kitchen and the Italian Restaurant, Cucina Del Capitano. These are additional charge ($15pp) restaurants for dinner. I personally think JiJi’s is the best specialty restaurant value on Carnival.
At lunch time both of these locations have free options. JiJi’s offers a Mongolian Wok stir fry lunch while Cucina becomes the Captain’s Pasta Bar, offering cooked to order pasta. Both are excellent options on embarkation day since most cruisers don’t discover them until later in the cruise.
This is the view from one of the tables in Cucina Del Capitano. This picture was taken in Puerto Vallarta. The other ship is the Royal Princess.
This is the deck area just outside of JiJi’s Asian Kitchen. The tinted windows allow diners to enjoy a nice view with privacy.
Deck 12
All the way forward on this deck is the Spa and Fitness Center. I don’t have any pictures of those so we’re starting with Water Works.
You still have a good view of the pool deck and Seaside Theater screen from up here.
A look back towards Water Works from behind the Seaside Theater screen.
This is the clubhouse which has ping pong tables and other games inside.
Just outside of the clubhouse is the miniature golf course and pool tables.
This walking/jogging track goes all the way around this portion of the ship. They have a basketball court and outdoor fitness equipment up here as well.
Deck 14
On the aft portion of deck 14 we have a continuation of the miniature golf course and the entrance to the ropes course. This is really the 13th deck but they call it deck 14 because who wants to walk a ropes course on unlucky deck 13?
This is also where you would go to board the Sky Ride.
The forward portion of deck 14 has guest cabins, a salon, and spa treatment rooms. This is also where you will find the ships coin. You can get a birds eye view of the Water Works area from up here as well.
Deck 15
Deck 15 is only on the forward portion of the ship. This is where the Serenity Adults Only Retreat is located.
Serenity has all of the different types of seating you could want.
This is the Serenity bar.
This salad bar is very popular. I had to wait a long time to get a shot without people making salads.
Moving around to the port side we have more of the same seating options.
And that completes our tour of Carnival Panorama.
