Carnival Jubilee: Day 3

Good Morning! I think I figured something out about the noise in my room. My little hallway has seven rooms. I think at least three of them are traveling together. They have the same door decoration but with different last names. They’re probably going back and forth, slamming doors, and screaming like it’s their little house.

I tested YouTube, Spotify and Twitch this morning. All are working good on premium internet out here.

The weather looks good today.

I’m going to have Emeril’s again. I placed my order and grabbed the same table as yesterday.

I had these at the Emeril’s on Celebration. These are the sweet potato waffles.

They have a Build-A-Bear workshop going on in Grand Central.

That’s a Texas size chair.

I’ll get to the Alchemy eventually. I need to work my way through all of the drinks at the new bars first.

Before I went to breakfast that table had coffee and pastries. I’m not sure if that was for a private event or for the general pubic but it’s gone now.

I may get by the Steakhouse bar at some point for a Watermelon Martini.

In case you were wondering if they kept that conference room for this ship…yep.

You can’t really sit here today because every time the door opens outside everything gets blown away.

I grabbed a copy of the Fun Times and a screwdriver.

I’m having the same problem in the Pig & Anchor. Any door that opens creates a wind tunnel right now.

I guess if the screen won’t come up so you can see outside, create your own outside. That water is moving

Veteran’s get together.

CD Kyndall Fire is hosting.

They played a video from Christine Duffy.

After that I headed up to the Red Frog Tiki bar for a Blue Hawaiian.

The wind is crazy. It’s even blowing pens and the plastic QR code holders off of the bar.

I had to move under cover.

I grabbed a Shiner and moved into the buffet.

On my way in here, that door got stuck and wouldn’t open. A guy forced it open. I heard a pop. Now it’s open permanently

It’s not very crowed right now due to the wind.

This is a Skinny Fizz which is vodka, peach schnapps, orange juice and sparkling water.

They have some Galveston beers here. If you’re interested in that brewery you can check out my visit to Galveston Island Brewing.

And Bloody & Honey from Dallas. This ship has more “local” beers than any ship I’ve been on. That’s two Galveston beers and a Dallas beer you can get here. You can also get Shiner on all Carnival ships from Galveston. That’s at least four Texas beers on this ship. They also have two Louisiana Beers with the Abita Strawberry and Purple Haze at Emeril’s.

Here is an internet speed test from Serenity.

The wind is really bad. I’ve seen multiple receipts blow off of the ship. One just got blown up to Loft 19. I found a wind-free spot around the corner from the bar.

I wonder what that antenna does for us.

After eating I headed back up to Serenity. The wind has seriously died down. People are coming out.

Imagine if this had been open. Lettuce would’ve been everywhere

They’re having a cheerleading competition.

I had to head back to Serenity for another Blood & Honey.

The casino is packed.

Soccer is on the TVs.

I was annoyed when the screens did move on Mardi Gras and Celebration because it’s a great view and I felt they blocked it too often. It’s worse when the view is blocked all the time. I will be back this summer and hopefully we’ll get that view.

The Alchemy is double packed.

Dr. Inks is full. I know what The Golden Mermaid has so it’s a no-brainer.

I hate these lights but you can’t move them.

Let’s just go down the line here. I didn’t like the Emerald Escape. Let’s try Ruby Rapture.

What I’m tasting is Nerds candy.

I knew I knew him. It finally came to me. I haven’t been on a ship with Daniel the Alchemist since Breeze 2018.

When I mentioned it to him he said “You were Breeze, right?” Crazy

Here are the current dinner wait times. I think I’m going to try Chibang at the end of the night. Tommy Drake comedy at 7:45, dinner, then Cee-Jay comedy at 9:45. That’s the plan.
